  • The Last Steps has just gone into production and will be released in the UK on November 18, 1996, according to Terrapin Records. No USA distributor has been found yet, but for now, it will be available as an import or directly from Terrapin.
  • I previous reported that a 2CD compilation called "Dusky Voices" was coming from Terrapiin Records. This was a misunderstanding between Terrapin and myself. "Dusky Voices" was an old name for Edge of Twilight which was just released. There is no album called "Dusky Voices."

  • The version of Acquiring The Taste on Edge of Twilight is the first on CD that does not have the "bent note" defect.

  • Tragic news: Kevin Gilbert, a participant on the Gentle Giant tribute album, died on May 17. Cause of death was determined as "accidental asphyxiation," and no foul play was involved. Kevin was a founding member of the progressive rock band Giraffe, and also played in Toy Matinee. Kevin was an extremely talented composer and recording artist. He will be greatly missed!!
