Instruments
- 1960 Gibson Les Paul guitar that Gary Green put up for sale in 2001 at Uncle Lou's. The asking price: $45,000. The guitar did sell, reportedly in excess of the asking price. Diana Green writes: "Bear in mind the instrument not only has intrinsic value as a vintage Las Paul, but also has significance due to its provenance being so well documented (an issue in anything arbitrarily deemed 'collectible') and its place in rock history."
- Bass drum used between 1969 and 1971. From the book Rock And Roll Memorabilia by Hilary Kay, published by Simon & Schuster, New York in 1992. Judging from this 2003 color photo, the drum is hanging in the Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore, Maryland. (Thanks to Dan Vespi.) Reportedly, "The illustration [on the drum] has been nicked from the front cover of a children's book called Le merveilleux chef d'oeuvre de Seraphin (meaning somthing like 'The marvellous masterwork of Seraphin') by Philippe Fix; however a few minor amendments have been made to the drawing, for example, removing the person playing the instrument." (Thanks to Sven Eriksen.) We also have a
