here are the results of the GG jury:
First of all I'd like to thank everybody for participation. I hope you've had as much fun as I had. Altogether, 26 O-R members send me their votes (including one female, thank you Diana!). Only four albums received votes from all participants (Acquiring The Taste, Octopus, The Power And The Glory, Free Hand), whereas Giant For A Day only received 18 votes.
A note on the way I computed the results: the songs got 3, 2 and 1 point depending on your ranking. (I have experimented a little with different valuations, 5-3-2 and 8-4-2, but the results in principle remained the same with some minor changes only (except for Three Friends, where number 1 and number 2 changed their position). In order to make the results for each album comparable, I then calculated how many percent of pints each song received with regard to the maximal number reachable. If for example 20 people voted for an album, the maximal number reachable would be 60; if a song on this particular album ended up with 30 points, it consequently reached 50 %. These are the numbers to be found in the following statistic. Thus, the numbers do not add to 100% because in th given example, one individual song could have reached 60 points, but all the songs together could have reached 120 points. Moreover, the numbers do not add to 200% because not all people gave three mentions for each album.
